AssembleMount Service Policies

Effective Date: July 21, 2025

At AssembleMount, we take pride in providing reliable, professional handyman services across Chicago and surrounding areas. These policies are in place to protect both our customers and our team. Please review before booking.


1. Services We Provide

We offer:

TV mounting and wire concealment

Furniture assembly (IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon, Target, etc.)

Art, mirror, and shelving installation

Small repairs and handyman projects

Move-in setup services

2. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon service completion unless agreed otherwise.

Accepted: Debit/Credit Card, Zelle, Cash App.

Invoices (Net 7) available for commercial/property management clients.

Late payments incur a 10% late fee.

Deposits may be required for multi-day, bundled, or large jobs.


3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancel or reschedule free with 24+ hours’ notice.

Same-day cancellations or no-shows incur a $45 fee.

Multiple late cancellations may require a non-refundable deposit before rebooking.


4. Service Guarantee

We offer a 7-day workmanship guarantee.

We will return to fix issues caused by our installation at no cost.

This guarantee does not cover: product defects, misuse, or post-installation damage.

Issues must be reported within 7 days.


5. Photos and Documentation

We may take before-and-after photos:

For internal training or quality control

For marketing, only if no identifying info is shown
To opt out of photo use in marketing, notify us before service begins.


6. Privacy Policy

Your contact details are secure and never sold or shared.

We use your info only for scheduling, service, or follow-up.

By booking, you consent to receive service-related texts, emails, and calls.


7. Contractor Standards

All AssembleMount technicians must:

Arrive on time and dressed professionally

Communicate clearly and respectfully

Keep your space clean and secure

Report safety concerns or install issues immediately

8. Limitations of Liability

We are not liable for:

Pre-existing issues (e.g. wall, electrical, structural)

Manufacturer defects or missing parts

Hidden in-wall obstructions

Misuse or accidental damage post-install

We’ll notify you of concerns before continuing work.


9. Pricing & Estimates

Estimates are based on labor time, job complexity, and materials.

Materials may be invoiced separately.

Admin fees may apply to jobs over $500.

Pricing reflects current market conditions and may change.

Estimates are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.


10. Scheduling Requirements

By booking, you agree to:

Share accurate job info and pictures when possible

Ensure someone 18+ is present during the appointment

Provide safe and accessible work areas

Share building access codes, parking info, or gate instructions in advance
